Guide to Yoga

After much reviews from many tutorials and yoga classes I have roughly concluded this Guide to Yoga is by far the best, from my point of view.
It has been 4 months since i started my search for a great yoga guide that is suitable for all ages and Especially for my Age.(Check my About me)

It nearly 10 months since I first started my Yoga classes and recently my instructor said I am good enough to take advance classes. Which is a major surprise to me because i never thought i would have reached that stage. The Guide i am talking about is called  Shapeshifter Yoga .

Well this is my review on this Guide to Yoga, Shapeshifter.

PROS : (the reason why it is on top of my list)
-It is suitable for any age, Well if it is working for a 62 year old man why wouldn’t it work for you?
-It covers in depth of the safety aspect and that put it at the top of my list!
(Nearly all Tutorial fails to include the safety points)
-It teaches you a proper form of warm up specially for Yoga.
(This is really important – click here to read more)
-It includes audio and video files that really aids you in the step clearly!
-It focus on the Best methods to help you speed up the improvement on flexibility.
-It allows you to eliminate the need for an instructor
-It provides you with Music that soothes you while you are practicing.
-(Best part of all) They provide 60 Days money back guarantee!! If you are not happy with the product !

CONS :  (well I have to be honest)
-You need to learn it in front of a Television or Computer. Because the tutorial are mainly in videos but the fact is all tutorials are the same.
-They go from the basics and slowly advance, so if you are looking to just jump into advance tutorials.
(You are going to have to skip lots of the video and not exactly maximizing the use of your money.)
-There is very little motivational talk so you have to motivate yourselves to constantly practice.
(And that is usually the case for beginner we tend to be motivated to start but overtime we would get bored and eventually stop)

Warm up before Yoga

It is the same as all other physical activities, it important to conduct a warm-up before you do yoga. Now you might wonder and question: “hey i am already doing  stretching when i do yoga.  So why do i need to do warm-up?”

Well doing Yoga and doing warm-up is two entirely different thing. That is covered in this guide to yoga , Shapeshifter.  Doing warm-up surprising allows you to improve faster as well because it reduce the recovery time after you cool-down. Though you may not know warming up allows you to create safe space in between the joints.

And since Yoga practices includes meditation and breathing exercises many people would skeep the vital warm up and jump straight to challenging postures. This in fact is really dangerous as it could cause injuries to the muscles and joints.

Fortunately this guide to Yoga allows you to understand the type of warm up needed for different challenging postures. In this guide to Yoga, it takes you to a new level of understanding of doing warm up. All i can say it is because it teaches you not just any ordinary warm up you see everyday but a unique form of warm up just for Yoga.

What is important in a Guide to Yoga

The most important thing you should look out for in a Guide to Yoga. And that is Safety!

I have received lots of yoga video and tutorials and they lack the safety aspect on yoga. It may seem unnecessary but on the long run you might feel the impact.

Recently one of my Yoga classmates complained to me about her back pain, which never went away after months and months of yoga classes. She was sharing with me that she felt it was a waste of money to attend all the yoga classes. One day she pop by my house and we practiced ShapeShifter yoga together, right away after we started doing the yoga workout, it was not long before she noticed her problem. It was surprising  minor and as expected it was not visible to the yoga instructor’s eyes.

I helped her corrected her stances, picked up from the ShapeShifter itself , and clearly after the second week she was back on the ball with her yoga. She recently told me that she felt her back was no longer hurting.

That gave me a clear understand how important it is to find a proper guide to yoga.  This is really vital if I wanted to continue practicing Yoga the right way. Unfortunately most beginners do know the importance of safety and many would later feels that yoga workout is not helping them at all. Most guide to yoga are very vague and only focuses on the however lacking all the small details.

Yoga Classes

I’ve came across and been through tons and tons of yoga classes and am constantly in search for new yoga exercise. Because at my current age I have to be really careful with how I handle my body but at the same time explore new style and exercise, to keep myself entertained and in shape.

*Btw I am current 62 years old.*

It is not so surprising that you are in search to find new ways or moves for yoga. I myself have been taking yoga classes since 3 months ago and there are still moves which i still could not execute in class, a little embarrassing to be honest.

So in order for me build my confidence level, I then came across this guide to yoga tutorial and found simpler methods to do my yoga and this is has officially become my stepping stone.I have been in search for a really good tutorial and this for me is one of the best that i can recommend. It was my first time practicing Yoga at home and this allowed me to quickly learn and keep up with the classes I am having.
